Chapter: Coitus interruptus – Permitting withdrawal with the wife’s or concubine’s consent
Hadith 4195
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا عَنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: In the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we used to practice coitus interruptus (azl), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not forbid us from it.
