Hadith 6649

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ إِِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ ، وَيَقُولُ : " إِِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هُنَا ، إِِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هُنَا ، مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, before the Day of Judgment there will be some great liars, among whom will be a man from Yamamah and a man from Sana'a who is called Ansi. One of them will be from Himyar, and among them will be the Dajjal, who will be the greatest of them in terms of tribulation."
The narrator says: My companions have narrated this. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this. The number of these great liars will be about 30.
