أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْنَا عَلَى حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، فَسَأَلْنَاهَا عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ ، فَأَخْبَرَتْنَا أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " عَنِ الْغُلامِ شَاتَانِ ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ " .
Yusuf bin Mahak narrates: We presented ourselves before Sayyida Hafsa bint Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with her). We asked her about 'Aqiqah, so she informed us: Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) told her this: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: For a boy, two goats and for a girl, one goat (should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah).
