Hadith 5207

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ بْنُ السَّرْحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي قُرَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا ثَرَدَتْ ، غَطَّتْهُ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ فَوْرُهُ ، ثُمَّ تَقُولُ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْبَرَكَةِ " .
It is narrated about Sayyida Asma bint Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with them both, that when she prepared tharid, she would cover it until its heat subsided, then she would say: I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "This is a cause for increase in blessing."
