Hadith 256
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاذٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَيْفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاذٍ الْبَصْرِيّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ جُبِّ الْحُزْنِ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا جُبُّ الْحُزْنِ ؟ قَالَ : " وَادٍ فِي جَهَنَّمَ تَعَوَّذُ مِنْهُ جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَرْبَعَ مِائَةِ مَرَّةٍ " ، قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ يَدْخُلُهُ ؟ قَالَ : " أُعِدَّ لِلْقُرَّاءِ الْمُرَائِينَ بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ ، وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَبْغَضِ الْقُرَّاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يَزُورُونَ الْأُمَرَاءَ " ، قَالَ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ : الْجَوَرَةَ .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Seek refuge with Allah from the pit of grief.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the pit of grief?' He said: 'A valley in Hell from which Hell itself seeks refuge four hundred times each day.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who will enter it?' He said: 'It has been prepared for reciters of the Qur'an who want to show off their deeds. The most hateful of reciters of the Qur'an to Allah are those who visit the rulers.'" Hadith 2679
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ رَوْحِ بْنِ زِنْبَاعٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ خَصَى غُلَامًا لَهُ فَأَعْتَقَهُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمُثْلَةِ .
´It was narrated from Salamah bin Rawh bin Zinba', that :` his grandfather came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he had castrated a slave of his. The Prophet (ﷺ) manumitted the slave in compensation for having been mutilated.
Hadith 2779
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ كُلُّهُمْ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا يَوْمٌ ، لَطَوَّلَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي ، يَمْلِكُ جَبَلَ الدَّيْلَمِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Even if there was only one day left of this world, Allah would make it last until a man from my household took possession of (the mountain of) Dailam and Constantinople.”
Hadith 3354
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , حَدَّثَنَا هُرَيْمٌ , عَنْ لَيْثٍ , عَنْ كَعْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُوعِ , فَإِنَّهُ بِئْسَ الضَّجِيعُ , وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخِيَانَةِ , فَإِنَّهَا بِئْسَتِ الْبِطَانَةُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: ‘Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-ju’, fa innahu bi’sad- daji’, wa a’udhu bika minal-khiyanah, fa innaha bi’satil-bitanah (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from hunger, for it is a bad companion, and I seek refuge with You from treachery, for it is a bad thing to hide in one’s heart).’”
Hadith 3627
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ , عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ , عَنْ طَاوُسٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ قَدْ خَضَبَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ , فَقَالَ : " مَا أَحْسَنَ هَذَا " , ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِآخَرَ قَدْ خَضَبَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ , فَقَالَ : " هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا " , ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِآخَرَ قَدْ خَضَبَ بِالصُّفْرَةِ , فَقَالَ : " هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا كُلِّهِ " , قَالَ : وَكَانَ طَاوُسٌ يُصَفِّرُ .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a man who had dyed his hair with henna and said: ‘How handsome this is!’ Then he passed by another who had dyed his hair with henna and Katam, and said: ‘This one is more handsome than that one.’ Then he passed by another who had dyed his hair yellow and said: ‘This one is more handsome than all of them.’”
Hadith 3633
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاق , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَفْرِقُ خَلْفَ يَافُوخِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , ثُمَّ أَسْدِلُ نَاصِيَتَهُ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “I used to part the hair of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) behind his crown, and let his forelock hang down.”
Hadith 3752
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , عَنْ كَامِلٍ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ , عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ , عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " اطَّلَى وَوَلِيَ عَانَتَهُ بِيَدِهِ " .
´It was narrated from Umm Salamah that:` "the Prophet(ﷺ) would coat (with hair removing chemical) and remove the pubic hairs with his hand."
Hadith 4195
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ دِينَارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ , عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ , قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ , فَجَلَسَ عَلَى شَفِيرِ الْقَبْرِ فَبَكَى حَتَّى بَلَّ الثَّرَى , ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا إِخْوَانِي , لِمِثْلِ هَذَا فَأَعِدُّوا " .
´It was narrated that Bara’ said:` “We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at a funeral, and he sat at the edge of the grave weeping, until the ground became wet. Then he said: ‘O my brothers, prepare yourselves for something like this.’”
