Hadith 3421
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ , حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ فَمِ السِّقَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade drinking (directly) from the mouth of a water skin.”
Hadith 3428
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ , عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " عَنِ التَّنَفُّسِ فِي الْإِنَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade breathing into the vessel.”
Hadith 3429
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنْ يُنْفَخَ فِي الْإِنَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade blowing into the vessel.”
Hadith 3430
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ , عَنْ شَرِيكٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَنْفُخُ فِي الشَّرَابِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not blow into his drinks.”
Hadith 3440
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ , حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَكِينٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَادَ رَجُلًا , فَقَالَ لَهُ : " مَا تَشْتَهِي ؟ " , فَقَالَ : أَشْتَهِي خُبْز بُرٍّ , فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ خُبْزُ بُرٍّ , فَلْيَبْعَثْ إِلَى أَخِيهِ " , ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا اشْتَهَى مَرِيضُ أَحَدِكُمْ شَيْئًا فَلْيُطْعِمْهُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) visited a man (who was sick) and said to him:` “What do you desire?” He said: “I want wheat bread.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever has wheat bread, let him send it to his brother.” Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When a sick person among you desires something, give it to him.”
Hadith 3477
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَا مَرَرْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي بِمَلَإٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ , إِلَّا كُلُّهُمْ , يَقُولُ لِي : عَلَيْكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ بِالْحِجَامَةِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “On the night on which I was taken on the Night Journey (Isra’), I did not pass by any group of angels but all of them said to me: ‘O Muhammad, you should use cupping.’”
Hadith 3478
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى , حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ الْحَجَّامُ , يَذْهَبُ بِالدَّمِ , وَيُخِفُّ الصُّلْبَ , وَيَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘What a good slave is the cupper. He takes away the blood, reduces pressure on the spine, and improves the eyesight.’”
Hadith 3499
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : " كَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُكْحُلَةٌ , يَكْتَحِلُ مِنْهَا ثَلَاثًا فِي كُلِّ عَيْنٍ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) had a kohl container from which he would apply kohl three times, to each eye.”
Hadith 3526
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْأَشْهَلِيُّ , عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعَلِّمُهُمْ مِنَ الْحُمَّى , وَمِنَ الْأَوْجَاعِ كُلِّهَا , أَنْ يَقُولُوا : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الْكَبِيرِ , أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ مِنْ شَرِّ عِرْقٍ نَعَّارٍ , وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَرِّ النَّارِ " , قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ : أَنَا أُخَالِفُ النَّاسَ فِي هَذَا أَقُولُ : يَعَّارٍ .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that, for fever and all kinds of pain, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to teach them to say:` “Bismillahil-kabir, a’udhu billahil-‘Azim min sharri ‘irqin na’ar wa, min sharri harrin- nar (In the Name of Allah the Great, I seek refuge with Allah the Almighty from the evil of a vein gushing (with blood) and the evil of the heat of the Fire.” (One of the narrators) Abu `Ammar said: “I differed with the people on this, I said: ‘Screaming.’” Another chain from Ibn `Abbas, from the Prophet (ﷺ) with similar wording, and he said: “From the evil of a vein screaming (with blood).”
Hadith 3539
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ , عَنْ سِمَاكٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ , وَلَا هَامَةَ وَلَا صَفَرَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “There is no ‘Adwa, no omen, no Hamah and no Safar.”*
Hadith 3756
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ , عَنْ زَائِدَةَ , عَنْ سِمَاكٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنَّ ّالنَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكَمًا " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:` "In some poetry there is wisdom."
Hadith 3916
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الصَّوَّافُ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ أَيُّوبَ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَحَلَّمَ حُلُمًا كَاذِبًا , كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ , وَيُعَذَّبُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever tells of a false dream, will be ordered (on the Day of Resurrection) to tie two grains of barley together, and he will be punished for that.”
