Hadith 1527
´Narrated Thabit bin Adh-Dahhak:` That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is not for a person to vow about that over which he has no control."
Hadith 1528
´Narrated 'Uqbah bin 'Amir:` That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The atonement of a vow when it is not specified is the atonement of an oath."
Hadith 1543

ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ غَيْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ كَاذِبًا ، فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدِ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي هَذَا إِذَا حَلَفَ الرَّجُلُ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الْإِسْلَامِ ، فَقَالَ : هُوَ يَهُودِيٌّ ، أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٌّ ، إِنْ فَعَلَ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ الشَّيْءَ ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ : قَدْ أَتَى عَظِيمًا وَلَا كَفَّارَةَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ، وَبِهِ يَقُولُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، وَإِلَى هَذَا الْقَوْلِ ذَهَبَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ ، وقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالتَّابِعِينَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ : عَلَيْهِ فِي ذَلِكَ الْكَفَّارَةُ ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ ، وَأَحْمَدَ ، وَإِسْحَاق .
´Narrated Thabit bin Adh-Dahhak:` That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam while lying, then he is as he said."
Hadith 1581
حَدَّثَنَا

صَخْرُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، عَنْ

ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، وَأَنَسٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْ حَدِيثِ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ " ، فَقَالَ : لَا أَعْرِفُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مَرْفُوعًا .
‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Indeed, for every betrayer, a flag will be set up for him on the Day of Resurrection.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih.
2- I asked Muhammad about this hadith of Suwaid, which he narrates from Abu Ishaq Sabi’i, from Abu Ishaq from ‘Ammarah bin ‘Umair, from ‘Ammarah from ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that he said: “For every covenant-breaker there will be a flag.” Muhammad bin Isma’il al-Bukhari said: To my knowledge, this hadith is not marfu’.
3- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from ‘Ali, ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud, Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, and Anas (may Allah be pleased with them).
Hadith 1586
Bajalah bin Abadah says: I was the scribe of Juz’ bin Mu’awiyah at the place of Manazir. A letter from ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us, stating: “Look for the Magians (Zoroastrians) among you and take jizyah from them, because ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) informed me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took jizyah from the Magians of Hajar.” __REF_N__
Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan.
Hadith 1594
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ
جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : " لَمْ نُبَايِعْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ ، إِنَّمَا بَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَمَعْنَى كِلَا الْحَدِيثَيْنِ صَحِيحٌ : قَدْ بَايَعَهُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ ، وَإِنَّمَا قَالُوا : لَا نَزَالُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ حَتَّى نُقْتَلَ ، وَبَايَعَهُ آخَرُونَ ، فَقَالُوا : لَا نَفِرُّ .
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We did not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for death; rather, we pledged allegiance to you that we would not flee (even if its outcome would eventually be death).

Hadith 1637
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُدْخِلُ بِالسَّهْمِ الْوَاحِدِ ثَلَاثَةً الْجَنَّةَ ، صَانِعَهُ يَحْتَسِبُ فِي صَنْعَتِهِ الْخَيْرَ ، وَالرَّامِيَ بِهِ ، وَالْمُمِدَّ بِهِ ، وَقَالَ : ارْمُوا وَارْكَبُوا ، وَلَأَنْ تَرْمُوا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ تَرْكَبُوا ، كُلُّ مَا يَلْهُو بِهِ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ بَاطِلٌ إِلَّا رَمْيَهُ بِقَوْسِهِ ، وَتَأْدِيبَهُ فَرَسَهُ ، وَمُلَاعَبَتَهُ أَهْلَهُ ، فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنَ الْحَقِّ ".
‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdur Rahman ibn Abi Al-Husain (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah Almighty will admit three people into Paradise because of a single arrow: the one who makes it, intending reward while making it; the archer who shoots it; and the one who hands it over.” He (peace be upon him) said: “Practice archery and learn to ride. Your practicing archery is more beloved to me than your riding. Everything with which a Muslim plays is falsehood except his practicing archery with his bow, training his horse, and playing with his wife. These three things are permissible for him.”
Hadith 1637
‘With this chain,’ a similar hadith is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him. © Imam Tirmidhi says:

2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ka’b bin Murrah, Amr bin Abasah, and Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with them.
Hadith 1654
It is narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sincerely prays to be killed in the way of Allah, Allah will grant him the reward of martyrdom." © Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
Hadith 1657
It is narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever among the Muslims strives in the way of Allah for the duration between two milkings of a she-camel, Paradise becomes obligatory for him. And whoever is wounded or injured in the way of Allah, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound much greater than it was in the world; its color will be saffron and its fragrance will be that of musk."
Hadith 1675
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "War is deception and trickery." __QUR_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic),
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Zaid bin Thabit, Aisha, Ibn Abbas, Asma bint Yazid bin Sakan, Ka'b bin Malik, and Anas (may Allah be pleased with them).
Hadith 1678
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا
إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ
ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو عَلَى الْأَحْزَابِ ، فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ ، سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ ، اهْزِمْ الْأَحْزَابَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : فِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (during the Battle of Ahzab) supplicating against the armies of the disbelievers. He supplicated in these words «اللهم منزل الكتاب سريع الحساب اهزم الأحزاب اللهم اهزمهم وزلزلهم»: "O Allah, Revealer of the Book and Swift in reckoning! Defeat the armies of the disbelievers, cause them to be defeated and shake their footing." 1. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
2- In this chapter, a hadith is also narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 1680
Yunus bin Ubaid, the freed slave of Muhammad bin Qasim, says that Muhammad bin Qasim sent me to Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with them both) to ask him about the flag of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Bara’ said: “His flag was striped, square, and black.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib,
2- We know it only from the narration of Ibn Abi Zaidah,
3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Harith bin Hissan, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them),
4- Abu Ya’qub Thaqafi’s name is Ishaq bin Ibrahim; from him, Ubaidullah bin Musa has also narrated.
Hadith 1710
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade striking the face and branding it. © Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
Hadith 1733
Abu Burdah says that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) brought out a woolen cloak and a coarse lower garment before us and said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away in these two garments. Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Aisha is Hasan Sahih,
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali and Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them both).
Hadith 1744
Hammad bin Salamah says: I saw Ibn Abi Rafi’ wearing a ring on his right hand, so I asked him about it. He said: I saw Abdullah bin Ja’far (may Allah be pleased with him) wearing a ring on his right hand. Abdullah bin Ja’far (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to wear a ring on his right hand. Muhammad bin Isma’il al-Bukhari says: This is the most authentic narration in this chapter that is reported from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Hadith 1749
حَدَّثَنَا

رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي
أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الصُّورَةِ فِي الْبَيْتِ ، وَنَهَى أَنْ يُصْنَعَ ذَلِكَ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، وَأَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، وَعَائِشَةَ ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade keeping pictures in the house and also forbade making them 1. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Jabir is Hasan Sahih,
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Abu Talhah, Aisha, Abu Hurairah, and Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with them).
Hadith 1770
‘Arfajah bin As‘ad (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In the days of ignorance, during the battle of Kilab 1 (a battle), my nose was cut off. I made a nose of silver, but it began to smell bad, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered me to make a nose of gold 2. From this chain also, Abu Shahab narrates a similar hadith. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib,
2- We know it only from the narration of ‘Abdur Rahman bin Tarafah; Salim bin Zurair has also narrated a similar hadith from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Tarafah from Abu Shahab,
3- It is narrated from several of the people of knowledge that they fastened their teeth with (wires of) gold; in this hadith there is evidence for them,
4- ‘Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi said (instead of Salim bin Zurair) Salim bin Zareen; here he made a mistake, and Zurair is more correct. The name of the narrator Abu Sa‘id Sughani is Muhammad bin Maisar.
Hadith 1778
´It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that` she walked wearing a shoe. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This narration is more authentic 1؎,
2- Sufyan Thawri and many others have also narrated this hadith in a mawquf manner through 'Abd al-Rahman bin Qasim, and this mawquf narration is more authentic.

لِجَابِرٍ : " الضَّبُعُ صَيْدٌ هِيَ " ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ ، قُلْتُ : آكُلُهَا ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لَهُ : أَقَالَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِلَى هَذَا وَلَمْ يَرَوْا بِأَكْلِ الضَّبُعِ بَأْسًا وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاق ، وَرُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثٌ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ أَكْلِ الضَّبُعِ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ وَقَدْ كَرِهَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَكْلَ الضَّبُعِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ : وَرَوَى جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ قَوْلَهُ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَصَحُّ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ هُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ الْمَكِّيُّ .
Ibn Abi Ammar says: I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Is the hyena also considered game? He said: Yes. I asked: Can it be eaten? He said: Yes. I asked: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say this? He said: Yes. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih.
2- Yahya Qattan says: Jarir bin Hazim narrated this hadith with this chain: Abdullah bin Ubaid bin Umair from Ibn Abi Ammar, Ibn Abi Ammar from Jabir, and Jabir from the statement of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Ibn Jurayj’s narration is more authentic.
3- Some people of knowledge hold this view; they do not see any harm in eating hyena. This is also the opinion of Ahmad and Ishaq bin Rahwayh.
4- There is a hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding the dislike of eating hyena, but its chain is not strong.
5- Some people of knowledge consider eating the badger to be disliked; this is also the opinion of Ibn Mubarak.
Hadith 1821
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا

سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ
أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ فَقَالَ : " غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سِتَّ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ " قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَكَذَا رَوَى سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، وَقَالَ سِتَّ غَزَوَاتٍ ، وَرَوَى سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ ، فَقَالَ : سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ .
´It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that` he was asked about locusts, so he said: I participated in six battles with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we used to eat locusts. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith has been narrated by Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah from Abu Ya’fur in the same way, and he said: “Participated in six battles,”
2- And Sufyan Thawri and several others have narrated this hadith from Abu Ya’fur and said: “Participated in seven battles.”
Hadith 1835
‘Abdullah bin Harith says that my father married me and invited people, among whom was Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Eat meat by tearing it with your teeth, for it is digested more quickly and is tastier.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- We know this hadith only from the narration of Abdul Karim, and the scholars of knowledge have spoken about the memory of Abdul Karim al-Mu’allim; among those who spoke about him is Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani,
2- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Aisha and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them both).

ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ فَقُرِّبَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ ، فَقَالُوا : أَلَا نَأْتِيكَ بِوَضُوءٍ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ بِالْوُضُوءِ إِذَا قُمْتُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، كَانَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ يَكْرَهُ غَسْلَ الْيَدِ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُوضَعَ الرَّغِيفُ تَحْتَ الْقَصْعَةِ .
‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came from the toilet, and food was presented to him. The companions said: “Shall we bring water for you to perform ablution?” He replied: “I have been commanded to perform ablution only when I go for prayer.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih (good and authentic),
2- ‘Amr bin Dinar narrated it from Sa‘id bin Huwairith from Ibn ‘Abbas,
3- ‘Ali bin al-Madini says: Yahya bin Sa‘id said: Sufyan al-Thawri considered it disliked to wash the hands before eating, and he also considered it disliked to place bread under the bowl.
Hadith 1859
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Satan is very watchful and licks (his prey), so protect yourselves from him. Whoever spends the night while there is the smell of grease on his hand, and then some harm befalls him, let him blame only himself." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is gharib through this chain,
2- This hadith is also narrated through the chain of «سهيل ابن أبي صالح عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم».

ابْنَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ " فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ طَاوُسٌ : وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، وَسُوَيْدٍ ، وَعَائِشَةَ ، وَابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Tawoos narrates that a man came to Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) and asked: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbid the nabidh (fermented drink) of a pitcher? He said: Yes 1. Tawoos says: By Allah, I have heard this from him. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih,
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa, Abu Saeed Khudri, Suwaid, Aisha, Ibn Zubair, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them).
Hadith 1874
'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that wine is made from wheat, then he narrated the entire hadith. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- It is narrated from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that wine is made from wheat; this narration is more authentic than that of Ibrahim ibn Muhajir 1؎,
2- 'Ali ibn al-Madini says: Yahya ibn Sa'id said: Ibrahim ibn Muhajir is not strong in narrating hadith,
3- This hadith has also come from Nu'man ibn Bashir through other chains.
Hadith 1882
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank Zamzam water while standing. 1© Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic),
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Sa’d, Abdullah bin Amr, and Aisha (may Allah be pleased with them).

أَنَسٍ، قَالَ : لَمَّا قَدِمَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الْمَدِينَةَ ، آخَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : هَلُمَّ أُقَاسِمُكَ مَالِي نِصْفَيْنِ ، وَلِيَ امْرَأَتَانِ ، فَأُطَلِّقُ إِحْدَاهُمَا فَإِذَا انْقَضَتْ عِدَّتُهَا فَتَزَوَّجْهَا ، فَقَالَ : بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ ، دُلُّونِي عَلَى السُّوقِ فَدَلُّوهُ عَلَى السُّوقِ فَمَا رَجَعَ يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ أَقِطٍ وَسَمْنٍ قَدِ اسْتَفْضَلَهُ ، فَرَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ وَعَلَيْهِ وَضَرٌ مِنْ صُفْرَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَهْيَمْ " ، قَالَ : تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، قَالَ : " فَمَا أَصْدَقْتَهَا ؟ " قَالَ : نَوَاةً ، قَالَ حُمَيْدٌ : أَوْ قَالَ : وَزْنَ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، فَقَالَ : " أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ ؟ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ : وَزْنُ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَزْنُ ثَلَاثَةِ دَرَاهِمَ وَثُلُثٍ ، وَقَالَ إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ : وَزْنُ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَزْنُ خَمْسَةِ دَرَاهِمَ ، سَمِعْتُ إِسْحَاق بْنَ مَنْصُورٍ يَذْكُرُ عَنْهُمَا هَذَا .
´Anas said:` : "When 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf arrived in Al-Madinah, the Messenger of Allah established a bond of brotherhood between him and sa'd bin Ar-Rabi. So he said to him: "Come here, I will divide my wealth and give you half, and I have two wives, I will divorce one of them, and when she completes her waiting period you may marry her." He said: " May Allah bless you in your family and your wealth. Show me where the market is." So they showed him where the market was and he did not return that day except with some cottage cheese and cooking fat which he had earned as a profit. The Messenger of Allah saw him after that, and he had traces of yellow on him. So he said to him: "What is this?" He said: "I married a woman from the Ansar." He said : " What dowry did you give her?" He said: " A date-stone(of gold) - ( one of the narrators) Humaid said: "Or he said: - gold equal to the weight of a date-stone." So he said: 'Have a banquet, even if with only a sheep."
Hadith 1938
´Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqbah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` "One who brings peace between people is not a liar, he says something good, or reports something good."
Hadith 1946
´Abu Bakr As-Siddiq narrated that the Messenger of Allah said :` "The one who treats his slaves badly will not enter paradise."
Hadith 1963
´-Abu Bakr As-Siddiq narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` "The swindler, the stingy person, and the Mannan shall not enter Paradise."

أَبِيهِ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، الرَّجُلُ أَمُرُّ بِهِ فَلَا يَقْرِينِي وَلَا يُضَيِّفُنِي ، فَيَمُرُّ بِي أَفَأُجْزِيهِ ، قَالَ : " لَا ، اقْرِهِ " ، قَالَ : وَرَآَّنِي رَثَّ الثِّيَابِ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالٍ ؟ " قُلْتُ : مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَدْ أَعْطَانِيَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَالْغَنَمِ ، قَالَ : " فَلْيُرَ عَلَيْكَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَجَابِرٍ ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَأَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ اسْمُهُ عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ الْجُشَمِيُّ ، وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ : اقْرِهِ : أَضِفْهُ ، وَالْقِرَى هُوَ الضِّيَافَةُ .
´Abu Al-Ahwas narrated from his father who said:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I stayed with a man who did not entertain me nor behave hospitably with me. Then he came to stay with me, shall I reciprocate the same to him?' He (ﷺ said: 'No, entertain him." He said: 'He (ﷺ saw me wearing tattered clothes and said:'(Do you have any wealth?' I said: 'Allah has given me various kinds of wealth through camels and goats.' He said: 'Then let it be seen on you.'"

أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْحَيَاءُ وَالْعِيُّ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ ، وَالْبَذَاءُ وَالْبَيَانُ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ : وَالْعِيُّ : قِلَّةُ الْكَلَامِ ، وَالْبَذَاءُ : هُوَ الْفُحْشُ فِي الْكَلَامِ ، وَالْبَيَانُ : هُوَ كَثْرَةُ الْكَلَامِ مِثْلُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْخُطَبَاءِ الَّذِينَ يَخْطُبُونَ فَيُوَسِّعُونَ فِي الْكَلَامِ وَيَتَفَصَّحُونَ فِيهِ مِنْ مَدْحِ النَّاسِ فِيمَا لَا يُرْضِي اللَّهَ .
´Abu Umamah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.A.W) said:` "Al-Haya' and Al-'Iy are two branches of faith, and Al-Badha and Al-Bayan are two branches of Hypocrisy."
Hadith 2039
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا
إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ بْنِ بَرَكَةَ، عَنْ
أُمِّهِ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَخَذَ أَهْلَهُ الْوَعَكُ أَمَرَ بِالْحِسَاءِ فَصُنِعَ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُمْ فَحَسَوْا مِنْهُ ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّهُ لَيَرْتُو فُؤَادَ الْحَزِينِ ، وَيَسْرُو عَنْ فُؤَادِ السَّقِيمِ كَمَا تَسْرُو إِحْدَاكُنَّ الْوَسَخَ بِالْمَاءِ عَنْ وَجْهِهَا " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Aishah narrated:` "Whenever one of the wives of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) became (feverishly) ill, he would order that some broth be prepared. Then he would tell them to take some of the broth. And he would say: 'It firms the heart of the grieved, and it rids the worries from the heart of the ill just as one of you removes dirt from her face with water." Another chain reports a similar narration.
Hadith 2043
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ
الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَرَاهُ رَفَعَهُ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِحَدِيدَةٍ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَحَدِيدَتُهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَوَجَّأُ بِهَا فِي بَطْنِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ، خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا أَبَدًا ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِسُمٍّ ، فَسُمُّهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا أَبَدًا " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated (from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)):` "Whoever kills himself with (an instrument of)iron, he will come on the Day Of Judgment with his iron in his hand, to continually stab himself in his stomach with it, in the fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally. And whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand, to continually take it in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally."
Hadith 2054
حَدَّثَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخَيَّاطُ، حَدَّثَنَا
فَائِدٌ مَوْلًى لِآلِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ
سَلْمَى، وَكَانَتْ تَخْدُمُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا كَانَ يَكُونُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرْحَةٌ وَلَا نَكْبَةٌ إِلَّا أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَضَعَ عَلَيْهَا الْحِنَّاءَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ فَائِدٍ ، وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ فَائِدٍ ، وَقَالَ : عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ سَلْمَى ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَصَحُّ ، وَيُقَالُ : سُلْمَى .
´'Ali bin 'Ubaidullah narrated that his grandmother [Salma] - who used to serve the The Prophet (S.A.W) said:` "There was no wound nor cut on the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) but he would order me to put Hinna on it." Another chain reports a similar narration.
Hadith 2076

عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ ابْنَةِ وَهْبٍ وَهِيَ
جُدَامَةُ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَنْهَى عَنِ الْغِيَالِ ، فَإِذَا فَارِسُ وَالرُّومُ يَفْعَلُونَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ أَوْلَادَهُمْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ مَالِكٌ : وَالْغِيَالُ أَنْ يَطَأَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ تُرْضِعُ .
´Aishah narrated from Wahb's daughter - and she is Judamah - who said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) saying: 'I wanted to prohibit Al-Ghilah, but the Persians and Romans did it, and they did not kill their children.'"
Hadith 2110
´Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab said:` "'Umar said: 'The blood-money is upon the 'Aqilah, and the wife does not inherit anything from the blood-money of her husband.' So Ad-Dahhak bin Sufyan Al-Kilabi informed him that the Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) wrote to him, (saying) to give the wife of Ashyam Ad-Dababi the inheritance from her husband's blood-money.'"
Hadith 2119
´Talhah bin Musarrif said:` "I said to Ibn Abi Awfi: Did the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) leave a will?' He said: 'No' I said: 'How is the will written, and how was it enjoined upon the people?' He said: 'It was ordered in the Book of Allah, Most High."'
Hadith 2131
Narrated from Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The example of a person who gives a gift and then takes it back is like a dog that keeps eating until it is full, then vomits, and then licks it up again." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
