Khuzaimah bin Juz’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about eating hyena, and he replied: “Does anyone eat hyena?” I asked you about the wolf, and you replied: “Does any righteous person eat wolf?” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The chain of this hadith is not strong; we know it only from Isma’il bin Muslim through Abdul Karim Abi Umayyah,
2- Some hadith scholars have spoken about Isma’il and Abdul Karim Abi Umayyah; (in the chain of the hadith mentioned) this Abdul Karim is Abdul Karim bin Qais bin Abi al-Makharik,
3- And Abdul Karim bin Malik Jazari is trustworthy.
Hadith 1835
‘Abdullah bin Harith says that my father married me and invited people, among whom was Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Eat meat by tearing it with your teeth, for it is digested more quickly and is tastier.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- We know this hadith only from the narration of Abdul Karim, and the scholars of knowledge have spoken about the memory of Abdul Karim al-Mu’allim; among those who spoke about him is Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani,
2- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Aisha and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them both).
