Hadith 1079
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْعَهْدُ الَّذِي بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمُ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا فَقَدْ كَفَرَ " .
´‘Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The covenant that distinguishes between us and them is prayer; so whoever leaves it, he has committed Kufr.’”
Hadith 2100
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ : إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ كَاذِبًا ، فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا لَمْ يَعُدْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ سَالِمًا " .
´It was narrated from Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father told that :` the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says: 'I have nothing to do with Islam,' if he is lying then he is as he said, and if he is telling the truth, his Islam will not be sound."
Hadith 2223
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَقِيلِ بْنِ خُوَيْلِدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ النَّحْوِيُّ ، أَنَّ عِكْرِمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ ابنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ كَانُوا مِنْ أَخْبَثِ النَّاسِ كَيْلًا ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّفِينَ فَأَحْسَنُوا الْكَيْلَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "When the Prophet (ﷺ) came to Al-Madinah, they were the worst people in weights and measures. Then Allah, Glorious is He revealed: "Woe to the Mutaffifun (those who give less in measure and weight)",[1] and they were fair in weights and measures after that.
Hadith 3131
حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَحَضَرَ الْأَضْحَى ، فَاشْتَرَكْنَا فِي الْجَزُورِ عَنْ عَشَرَةٍ ، وَالْبَقَرَةِ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ " .
´it was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, and the (day of) Al-Adha came. We (sacrificed) one camel on behalf of ten (people) and one cow on behalf of seven.”
Hadith 3341
حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ , حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّينَانِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ , عَنْ أَيُّوبَ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ " وَدِدْتُ لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا خُبْزَةً بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ بُرَّةٍ سَمْرَاءَ مُلَبَّقَةٍ بِسَمْنٍ نَأْكُلُهَا " ، قَالَ : فَسَمِعَ بِذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ , فَاتَّخَذَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَيْهِ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فِي أَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ هَذَا السَّمْنُ ؟ " , قَالَ : فِي عُكَّةِ ضَبٍّ , قَالَ : فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “One day, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘I wish that we had some white bread made of brown wheat, softened with ghee, that we could eat.’ A man from among the Ansar heard that, so he took some (of that food) and brought it to him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Where was this ghee kept?’ He said: ‘In a container made of mastigure skin.’ And he refused to eat it.”
Hadith 3600
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ بَرَّادِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ , حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ , قَاضِي مَرْوَ , حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ , أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ , قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ , فَأَقْبَلَ حَسَنٌ , وَحُسَيْنٌ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام , عَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ يَعْثُرَانِ وَيَقُومَانِ , فَنَزَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَأَخَذَهُمَا فَوَضَعَهُمَا فِي حِجْرِهِ , فَقَالَ : " صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ سورة التغابن آية 15 ، رَأَيْتُ هَذَيْنِ , فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ " , ثُمَّ أَخَذَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ .
´‘Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated that his father told him:` I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivering a sermon, and Hasan and Husain came forward, wearing red shirts, stumbling and getting up again. The Prophet (ﷺ) stepped down, picked them up and put them in his lap. Then he said: “Allah and His Messenger have spoken the truth. ‘Your wealth and your children are only a trial.’ [64:15] I saw these two and I could not be patient. Then he resumed his sermon.”
Hadith 4179
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنْ مَطَرٍ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ , عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ خَطَبَهُمْ , فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَوْحَى إِلَيَّ : أَنْ تَوَاضَعُوا حَتَّى لَا يَفْخَرَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Iyad bin Himar that the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed them and said:` “Allah has revealed to me that you should be humble towards one another so that none of you boasts to another.”
