وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، " كَانَ
يُسَلِّمُ بَيْنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَالرَّكْعَةِ فِي الْوِتْرِ ، حَتَّى يَأْمُرَ بِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would offer two rak'ahs of Witr and say salam, and if he had some work, he would tell him (i.e., Nafi), then he would offer one rak'ah of Witr.
