It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Aslam (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was wounded during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and blood accumulated there. So that man called two men from among Banu Anmar, and both of them came and examined him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "Which of you knows more about medicine?" They replied: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is there any benefit in medicine?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The One who sent down the disease also sent down the cure."
