Sale of food and slaves
Hadith 449
أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((بِئْسَ الْبَيْعَتَانِ بَيْعُ الطَّعَامِ وَبَيْعُ الرَّقِيقِ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Two types of sales are bad: the sale of food and the sale of slaves."
