Virtue of voluntary fasts and prayers
Hadith 177
أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، نا النَّهَّاسُ بْنُ قَهْمٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَى شُفْعَةِ الضُّحَى غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ)) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever consistently observes the two rak‘ahs of the Duha prayer, his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."
