Hadith 1354

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَطَاوُسٍ: أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا: الْحَجَّةُ الْوَاجِبَةُ مِنْ رَأْسِ الْمَالِ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الرِّسَالَةِ وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْمَنَاسِكِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) that Tawus and Ata (may Allah have mercy on them both) stated: "The obligatory Hajj (which was due upon the deceased) will be fulfilled from the principal wealth."
