995 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْخَصِيبُ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَيْسَرَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْخَرَائِطِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِي مِنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ»

From this hadith, it is understood that Shaytan has been granted such power and ability by Allah Ta'ala that he can enter a person internally and inwardly, and thereby mislead and lead him astray. Therefore, a person should always remain cautious, and in order to protect himself from the attacks of Shaytan, along with faith (iman) and righteous deeds (amal salih), he should frequently remember Allah (dhikr) and seek refuge with Allah Ta'ala from the accursed Shaytan. Otherwise, it is very difficult to be safe from the attacks of Shaytan.
