1274 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، قَالَ: أبنا صَافِي بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، إِجَازَةً، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْدَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خِيَارُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقَانِعُ وَشِرَارُهُمُ الطَّامِعُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best among the believers are those who are content, and the worst among them are those who are greedy."
