Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed one hundred camels. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came from Yemen, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) included him in one third share of the sacrifice. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered sixty-six camels himself and ordered Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to sacrifice the remaining thirty-four camels. By the order of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a portion from each camel was taken and cooked, then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate that meat and drank the broth. Sufyan says: The Arabs pronounce this word as: «وَحَسَوَا».
