The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) embraced it to his chest and calmed it, so it became tranquil. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I had not calmed it, it would have continued to weep until the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) decided regarding this that “for the child in her womb, a slave should be given to the heirs of the murdered woman, and for the woman, the woman (who struck) should be killed.” The narrator says: I said to Amr that Ibn Tawus narrated this hadith to me from his father in a different way? He said: You have made me doubtful.

In the same narration from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), with a different chain of transmission, this addition is also reported: After some time, that woman came again to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him that her new husband had touched her (therefore she now wished to remarry her first husband). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prevented her from returning to her first husband (because consummation with the second husband is the condition, not merely touching), and said: "O Allah! If her oath makes her lawful for Rifa‘ah, then her marriage will not be completed a second time." Then, during the caliphates of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna ‘Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him), she came to both of them seeking permission to return to her first husband, but both of them also prevented her.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a slave of Banu Bayadah performed cupping for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him one and a half mudd of wheat as wages. If this wage had been unlawful, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would never have given it to him. And he spoke to his masters regarding this matter, so they reduced some of the amount from him.
Hadith 3458
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed those men who become effeminate, and those women who become masculine.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I spent the night at the house of my maternal aunt, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up for prayer during a part of the night. I came and stood on his left side, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of me and made me stand on his right side. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed thirteen rak‘ahs, and in each rak‘ah, according to my estimation, he stood for the duration of Surah Al-Muzzammil.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out towards Makkah in the year of the conquest of Makkah during Ramadan, he was fasting. But when he reached the place of Ghadeer, the people became extremely thirsty because it was midday. The people began to stretch their necks and felt an intense desire for water. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a bowl of water, placed it on his hand so that everyone could see, and drank from it, and the people also drank water.

Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave a verdict in favor of Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I said to Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him): O Sa’d! We know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks, but was it before or after the revelation of Surah Al-Ma’idah? No one will tell you that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks after the revelation of Surah Al-Ma’idah. At this, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) remained silent.
Hadith 3463
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was eating meat with bones when the muezzin came. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put it aside and performed the prayer without renewing his ablution.

Once, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) saw Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) performing ablution. He asked, "Do you know on what basis I am performing ablution?" Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied in the negative. He (Abu Hurairah) said, "I ate some pieces of cheese, so I am performing ablution because of that." Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "I do not care about the reason for which you are performing ablution, because I am an eyewitness that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) eating the meat of the foreleg, after which he stood up for prayer and did not perform ablution." The narrator of the hadith, Sulaiman bin Yasar, used to attend to the service of both these companions (may Allah be pleased with them).
Hadith 3465
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with the water left over by Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). The narrator of the hadith, Abdur Razzaq, says that in fact, I had asked my teacher about the issue of two persons in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah), a man and a woman, performing ghusl with the same water, so he narrated this hadith to me.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once delayed the ‘Isha prayer so much that the people slept and woke up twice. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! The prayer. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out. That scene is still before my eyes: drops of water were dripping from the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he placed his hand on his head and said, “If I did not fear hardship for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to perform the ‘Isha prayer at this time.”
Hadith 3467
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I prayed eight rak‘ahs (units of prayer) together with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for Zuhr and Asr, and I also prayed seven rak‘ahs together (with him) for Maghrib and Isha.
