It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, during the night, her menstruation began. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing prayer at that time. She showed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) by gesture a cloth on which there was blood. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while still in prayer, gestured to her to wash that cloth. She washed the blood from the spot, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it and prayed in it.

I am also not surprised at your knowledge of poetry and the days of the Arabs, because I can say that you are the daughter of Hazrat Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, who was the most knowledgeable among all people. What surprises me is your knowledge of medicine—how, where, and from whom did you acquire it?" She placed her hand on his shoulder and said, "O Urwah! In the last days of his life, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, fell ill. Delegations of Arabs used to come to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from all sides. They would prescribe various things for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and I would treat him with those. That is how I acquired this knowledge."

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once we asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission to participate in jihad, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your jihad is Hajj."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she submitted to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! All your other wives have entered the House of Allah except me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Send a message to Sheiba, he will open the door of the House of Allah for you." So she sent a message to Sheiba, but Sheiba replied, "Even in the time of ignorance, we did not dare to open it at night, nor in Islam." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Pray in the Hatim, because your people left it outside the House of Allah when they rebuilt the Kaaba."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If such a situation occurs with me, I perform ghusl and then keep the fast." The man said, "We are not like you; Allah Almighty has forgiven all your past and future sins." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became displeased, and signs of anger appeared on his blessed face, and he said, "By Allah, I hope that I am the most God-fearing among you and the most knowledgeable about Him."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man was walking behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said, "I am going to join you in battle." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Do you believe in Allah and His Messenger?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then we do not take help from any polytheist." He repeated the same thing again, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the same question. This time he replied in the affirmative, and then he set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Narrated from Hazrat Durrah bint Abi Lahab (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and said, "Bring me water for ablution." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and I both hurried towards a vessel, but I reached it first and brought it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and, raising his gaze, said to me, "You are from me and I am from you." Then a man was brought who said, "I did not do this, but people had told me." He had asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) this question from the pulpit: "Who among the people is the best?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The one who has the most understanding of Allah's religion and the one who maintains the most ties of kinship."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would fast so continuously that we would say, "Now the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will keep fasting continuously," and sometimes he would leave off fasting so much that we would say, "Now the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will keep leaving off fasting continuously." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Bani Isra'il and Surah Az-Zumar every night.

When he bows, you should also bow; when he raises his head, you should also raise your heads; and when he prays sitting, you should also pray sitting."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that despite my being in menstruation, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to place his head in my lap and recite the Holy Qur'an.

We harvested the crop and separated the fruits, but by the One who honored you, we could only obtain from it what we ourselves could eat or feed to a needy person in hope of blessing. In this way, we suffered a loss. We went to the owner with this request that he compensate us for our loss, but he swore by Allah that he would not compensate us for any loss." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Did he swear an oath not to do good?" When that man found out, he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "May my parents be sacrificed for you, if you wish, I will compensate them for their loss (and give them more fruit), and if you wish, I will give them money." So, at the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) request, he compensated them for their loss.

By Allah, we do not kiss them." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I cannot help you in this matter if Allah has removed mercy from your heart (so how can I put it in?)."
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say seven takbeers in the first rak'ah and five in the second rak'ah during the Eid prayers, apart from the takbeers of bowing (rukoo').
