It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed on the lower floor of our house and I used to live on the upper floor. One day, water spilled in my room, so I and Umm Ayyub took a sheet and started drying the water so that it would not drip from the ceiling onto the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then, fearfully, I went to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! It is not appropriate that we stay above you; please move upstairs." So, on the order of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his belongings—which were already very few—were moved upstairs. Then I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! The food you used to send me before, I would look at it and wherever I sensed the marks of your fingers, I would place my hand there. But today, in the food you sent me, even after looking, I did not see the marks of your fingers." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "That is correct. Actually, there was onion in it, and I do not like to eat it because of the angel who comes to me. However, you may eat it."
Hadith 23571
Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman says that I asked my father, Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him), that someone says whoever performs two rak'ahs in the mosque after Maghrib, it is not permissible unless he performs them at home, because the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is among the prayers of the home." He asked, "Who says this?" I replied, "Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman." He said, "He has spoken well."
Hadith 23572
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs ghusl on Friday or attains purity and does it well, wears fine clothes, applies perfume or oil, then comes for Jumu’ah, reaches the mosque and, if there is time, offers prayer, does not engage in idle talk, does not harm anyone, and when the Imam comes out, remains silent, then his sins will be expiated until the next Friday.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you goes to the toilet, he should not face the Qiblah, rather he should turn towards the east or the west. But when we reached Syria, we found that the toilets there were built facing the Qiblah, so we would turn our faces away in them and seek forgiveness.
