And my Lord has sworn by His honor that whoever among My servants drinks even a single sip of wine, I will surely make him drink the boiling water of Hell in exchange for it, whether he is kept in punishment or is forgiven afterwards. And if even a minor child is given a single sip of it, I will surely make him drink the boiling water of Hell in exchange for it, whether he is kept in punishment or is forgiven afterwards. And whoever among My servants leaves it out of fear of Me, I will make him drink My pure wine. And the buying and selling of singing women, teaching them singing and music, and trading in them is not permissible, and their price is unlawful.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) organized an army (in which I was also present). I came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah for martyrdom on my behalf." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, "O Allah! Keep him safe and grant him spoils of war." Thus, we returned safe and sound with spoils of war. (When the army was organized again, I made the same request and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made the same prayer.) The third time when the army was organized, I came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have come to you twice before and requested you to pray to Allah for martyrdom on my behalf, but you prayed for safety and spoils of war, and we returned safe and sound with spoils of war. Therefore, O Messenger of Allah! Now pray for martyrdom for me." But the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again prayed for safety and spoils of war, and we returned safe and sound with spoils of war. After that, I came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "Command me to do some deed." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Make fasting obligatory upon yourself, for you will meet Allah in the state of fasting. And if during the day smoke was seen rising from their house, people would understand that today a guest has come to them." Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I continued to act upon this for a long time as long as Allah willed. Then I came to the court of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! You had commanded me to fast. I hope that Allah has granted us its blessings. Now tell me another deed." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Be certain that if you perform one prostration for Allah, Allah will, by its blessing, raise your rank by one degree and forgive one sin."
Hadith 22221
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from among the Ashab al-Suffah passed away and left behind one or two dinars. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These are one or two marks of Hell."

Then a wind will be sent upon their palaces, scattering them as the previous people were scattered, because they will consider alcohol to be lawful, will play the daf (musical instruments), and will have made singing women (female singers) for themselves.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I entered Paradise and heard the sound of footsteps ahead of me. I asked, "Who is this?" So Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) informed me that it was Bilal. I moved forward and saw that the majority in Paradise were the poor emigrants and the children of the Muslims, and I did not see any group in lesser number than the wealthy and women. It was told that the wealthy are standing at the gate of Paradise, where they are being held for account and scrutiny, and women have been kept heedless by gold and silk. Then we exited through one of the eight gates of Paradise, and while I was still at the gate, a scale was brought. I was placed in one pan and my entire Ummah in the other, and my pan outweighed theirs. Then Abu Bakr was brought and placed in one pan and the entire Ummah in the other, and Abu Bakr's pan outweighed theirs. Then Umar was brought and placed in one pan and the entire Ummah in the other, and Umar's pan outweighed theirs. Then each individual of my Ummah was presented before me and they kept passing by me, but I saw that Abdur Rahman bin Awf was very late in coming. After a long time, when hope was fading, he arrived. I asked him, "Abdur Rahman! What is the matter?" He replied, "O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, by the One Who sent you with the truth, my soul was only freed when I thought I would never be able to see you again, except if cool days came." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "For what reason?" He replied, "Because of the abundance of wealth, my account and scrutiny were being taken."
Hadith 22233
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Love (from Allah and fame) descends from the sky. Thus, when Allah Almighty loves a servant, He says (to Hazrat Jibreel, peace be upon him): "I love such-and-such person, so you also love him." Then this love is placed in the hearts of the people of the earth.
