Hadith 19975
حَدَّثَنَا
رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ
قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ
الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" لَا أَرْكَبُ الْأُرْجُوَانَ ، وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَ ، وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْقَمِيصَ الْمُكَفَّفَ بِالْحَرِيرِ " , قَالَ : وَأَوْمَأَ الْحَسَنُ إِلَى جَيْبِ قَمِيصِهِ ، وَقَالَ : " أَلَا وَطِيبُ الرِّجَالِ رِيحٌ لَا لَوْنَ لَهُ , أَلَا وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ لَوْنٌ لَا رِيحَ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I will not ride on a saddle that is covered with earth, nor will I wear clothes dyed with safflower or a shirt with silk cuffs. And he said: Remember! The fragrance of men has scent but no color, and the fragrance of women has color but no scent.
Hadith 19976
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Modesty is entirely good........ Then the narrator mentioned the whole hadith.
Hadith 19977
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has a right over someone and grants him respite, the one entitled to the right will receive the reward of giving charity every day.
Hadith 19978
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked someone, "Have you kept any fast at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are over, then keep two fasts in their place."
Hadith 19979
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقُلْ: " يَوْمَيْنِ "
Rawh narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu al-‘Ala’, from Mutarrif, from ‘Imran ibn Husayn, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with similar wording, except that he did not say: "two days."
Hadith 19980
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that I bear witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) Hantham, gold rings, and silk.
Hadith 19981
حَدَّثَنَا

أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ , يَقُولُ : أَشْهَدُ عَلَى
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
" نَهَى عَنِ الْحَنَاتِمِ ، وَعَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that I bear witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade hatnam, gold rings, and silk.
Hadith 19982
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I looked into Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women, and I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor.
Hadith 19983
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about praying while sitting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Performing prayer while standing is the most virtuous; the reward for praying while sitting is half of that for praying while standing, and the reward for praying while lying down is half of that for praying while sitting.
Hadith 19984
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Seventy thousand people from my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning. These are the people who do not cauterize for treatment, do not hang amulets, do not take omens from birds, and place their trust in their Lord.
Hadith 19985
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no vow in disobedience to Allah or in anger, and its expiation is the same as the expiation for an oath.
Hadith 19986
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the inhabitants of Paradise, the least in number will be women.
Hadith 19987
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no basis for taking the best animals in zakat, or for evading the payment of zakat through tricks and excuses, or for injuring animals with spears. And whoever commits looting is not one of us.
Hadith 19988
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked someone, "Have you kept any fast at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are over, then keep a fast for one or two days."
Hadith 19989
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from treating with cauterization, but we continued to cauterize and were never successful.
Hadith 19990
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would often relate to us the incidents of Bani Israel at night (and sometimes he would not even get up in between), he would only get up for the obligatory prayer.

الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
" كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَامَ عَنِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتْ الشَّمْسُ ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ فَأَمَرَ ، فَأُذِّنَ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى اسْتَقَلَّتْ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey. At night, they camped at a place, and at the time of Fajr prayer, everyone remained asleep and only woke up when the sun had already risen. When the sun had risen high, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a man, and he gave the call to prayer (adhan), and the people offered the two Sunnah units, then they performed the obligatory prayer.

شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ
مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ
رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ ، عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ : أَنَّ حُصَيْنًا أَوْ حَصِينًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ لَعَبْدُ الْمُطَّلِبِ كَانَ خَيْرًا لِقَوْمِهِ مِنْكَ ، كَانَ يُطْعِمُهُمْ الْكَبِدَ وَالسَّنَامَ ، وَأَنْتَ تَنْحَرُهُمْ ! فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : مَا تَأْمُرُنِي أَنْ أَقُولَ ؟ قَالَ : " قُلْ : اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي شَرَّ نَفْسِي ، وَاعْزِمْ لِي عَلَى أَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي " , قَالَ : فَانْطَلَقَ فَأَسْلَمَ الرَّجُلُ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ : إِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ ، فَقُلْتَ لِي : " قُلْ :
اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي شَرَّ نَفْسِي ، وَاعْزِمْ لِي عَلَى أَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي " , فَمَا أَقُولُ الْآنَ ؟ قَالَ : " قُلْ : اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، وَمَا أَخْطَأْتُ وَمَا عَمَدْتُ ، وَمَا عَلِمْتُ وَمَا جَهِلْتُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Husain came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Abdul Muttalib was better for his people than you; he used to feed people liver and hump, while you slaughter the same." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him an appropriate reply. He said, "What do you command me to recite?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Say: O Allah! Protect me from the evil of my soul and grant me steadfastness in the deed that is most virtuous." That person went away, and after accepting Islam, he came again and said, "Earlier, when I came to you, you told me to say: O Allah! Protect me from the evil of my soul and grant me steadfastness in the deed that is most virtuous. What should I say now?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Now say: O Allah! Forgive all my sins, those done secretly and openly, by mistake and deliberately, knowingly and unknowingly."
Hadith 19993
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Dajjal will eat food in the markets and walk about.
Hadith 19994
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I put under oath the person who has heard anything from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the inheritance of the grandfather, that he should inform us." Upon hearing this, a man stood up and said: "I bear witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him one third." Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Is there anyone else with you?" He replied: "I do not know." Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Then you do not know anything."
Hadith 19995
حَدَّثَنَا
حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ,
وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ , قَالَا : ثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ
مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتُ صَلَاةً خَلْفَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَنَا
وَعِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ ، فَكَانَ
إِذَا سَجَدَ كَبَّرَ ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ كَبَّرَ ، وَإِذَا نَهَضَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ , كَبَّرَ " ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ ، أَخَذَ بِيَدِي عِمْرَانُ ، فَقَالَ : لَقَدْ ذَكَّرَنِي هَذَا قَبَلُ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَوْ قَالَ : لَقَدْ صَلَّى بِنَا هَذَا صَلَاةَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Mutarrif bin Shukhair says that I was with Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) in Kufa, when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer. He would say Allahu Akbar every time he went into prostration and every time he raised his head. When the prayer was finished, Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He has led us in prayer just like the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray.
Hadith 19996
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would always encourage giving charity in his addresses and would forbid mutilation.
Hadith 19997
حَدَّثَنَا
مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ
الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ
خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ بِرَجُلٍ يَقُصُّ ، فَقَالَ
عِمْرَانُ : إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَسَلُوا اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَجِيءَ قَوْمٌ يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he passed by a man who was reciting the Qur'an to the people. After finishing the recitation, he began to ask the people (for something). Seeing this, Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un," and said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever recites the Qur'an, he should ask Allah through the Qur'an, because soon there will come people who will recite the Qur'an and then ask people through it.
Hadith 19998
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Qur'an was revealed and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established the Sunnahs, then he said: "Follow us. By Allah! If you do not do so, you will go astray."

إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ
إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ فِينَا بُشَيْرُ ابْنُ كَعْبٍ ، فَحَدَّثَنَا
عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ " أَوْ " إِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ " , فَقَالَ بُشَيْرُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ : إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي بَعْضِ الْكُتُبِ أَوْ قَالَ : الْحِكْمَةِ : أَنَّ مِنْهُ سَكِينَةً وَوَقَارًا لَلَّهِ ، وَمِنْهُ ضَعْفًا ، فَأَعَادَ عِمْرَانُ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَأَعَادَ بُشَيْرٌ مَقَالَتَهُ ، حَتَّى ذَكَر ذَاكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ، فَغَضِبَ عِمْرَانُ حَتَّى احْمَرَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ ، وَقَالَ : أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَعْرِضُ فِيهِ لِحَدِيثِ الْكُتُبِ ؟ ! قَالَ : فَقُلْنَا يَا أَبَا نُجَيْدٍ ، إِنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ ، وَإِنَّهُ مِنَّا ، فَمَا زِلْنَا حَتَّى سَكَنَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Modesty always brings goodness. After hearing this hadith from him, Bashir bin Ka'b said: It is written in the books of wisdom that modesty brings dignity and tranquility. Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am narrating to you the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and you are talking about your scriptures. From now on, I will not narrate any hadith to you. People began to say, O Abu Najid! He is a good man, and they kept reassuring him until he became silent and started narrating hadith again.
Hadith 20000
حَدَّثَنَا
خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا
الْمُبَارَكُ ، عَنِ
الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي
عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْصَرَ عَلَى عَضُدِ رَجُلٍ حَلْقَةً أُرَاهُ قَالَ مِنْ صُفْرٍ , فَقَال : " وَيْحَكَ مَا هَذِهِ ؟ " قَالَ : مِنَ الْوَاهِنَةِ , قَالَ : " أَمَا
إِنَّهَا لَا تَزِيدُكَ إِلَّا وَهْنًا ، انْبِذْهَا عَنْكَ ، فَإِنَّكَ لَوْ مِتَّ وَهِيَ عَلَيْكَ مَا أَفْلَحْتَ أَبَدًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man wearing a brass (copper) bracelet on his arm. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Hey! What is this?" He replied, "It is because of illness." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This will only increase your weakness. Take it off and throw it away. If you die while it is on your hand, you will never succeed."
Hadith 20001
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man, at the time of his death, freed all six of his slaves, and he had no wealth other than them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called those slaves, divided them into three groups, and drew lots among them. Then, the two whose names were drawn were set free, and the remaining four were kept as slaves.
Hadith 20002
حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي
رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْحَيِّ , أَنَّ يَعْلَي بْنَ سُهَيْلٍ مَرَّ
بِعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : يَا يَعْلَي ، أَلَمْ أُنَبَّأْ أَنَّكَ بِعْتَ دَارَكَ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَدْ بِعْتُهَا بِمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ , قَالَ : فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" مَنْ بَاعَ عُقْدَةَ مَالٍ ، سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهَا تَالِفًا يُتْلِفُهَا " .
Ya'la bin Suhail once passed by Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him). Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him, "O Ya'la! I have heard that you have sold your house for one hundred thousand?" He replied, "Yes, I have sold it for one hundred thousand." He (Imran) said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever sells the knot of his wealth, Allah imposes upon him something destructive, which ruins him."
Hadith 20003
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever commits looting is not one of us.
Hadith 20004
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from using cauterization as a treatment, but we continued to use cauterization and were never successful.
Hadith 20005
حَدَّثَنَا

يَحْيَى ، أَنَّ
أَبَا قِلَابَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ
أَبَا الْمُهَلَّبِ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ
عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ
أَخَاكُمْ النَّجَاشِيَّ تُوُفِّيَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ " , قَالَ : فَصَفَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَمَا نَحْسِبُ الْجِنَازَةَ إِلَّا مَوْضُوعَةً بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Today your brother Najashi has passed away, so perform his funeral prayer." Accordingly, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and we formed rows behind him; I was in the second row. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led his funeral prayer. It seemed to us as if his body was lying right in front of us.
Hadith 20006
حَدَّثَنَا

مَهْدِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا
غَيْلَانُ ، عَنْ
مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَهُ أَوْ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ :
" هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ شَيْئًا ؟ " قَالَ : لَا , قَالَ : " فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked someone, "Have you kept any fast at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are completed, then keep two fasts."
Hadith 20007
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) implemented the punishment of stoning.

It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) implemented the punishment of stoning.
Hadith 20009
حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ
سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنِ
الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ ، عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ رَجُلًا
أَعْتَقَ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ سِتَّةَ رَجْلَةٍ لَهُ ، فَجَاءَ وَرَثَتُهُ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَأَخْبَرُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَا صَنَعَ ، قَالَ : " أَوَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ : لَوْ عَلِمْنَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا صَلَّيْنَا عَلَيْهِ " قَالَ : فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ ، فَأَعْتَقَ مِنْهُمْ اثْنَيْنِ ، وَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man, at the time of his death, freed all six of his slaves, and he had no wealth other than them. His heirs came and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If we had known about this earlier, we would not have performed his funeral prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called those slaves, divided them into three groups, and drew lots among them. Then, the two whose names were drawn were set free, and the remaining four were kept as slaves.
Hadith 20010
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No illness should be treated with incantations except the evil eye or the sting of a poisonous creature."
