حَدَّثَنَا
الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ
أَخِيهِ عَبَّادٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْأَرْبَعِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ : وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ ، وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from four things: from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is devoid of fear and humility, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not accepted.
