Hadith 8574

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، وَأَبَانُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا جَلَسَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الْأَرْبَعِ ، وَأَجْهَدَ نَفْسَهُ ، فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ ، أَنْزَلَ أَوْ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When a man sits between the four corners of his wife and makes an effort, then ghusl becomes obligatory upon him whether ejaculation occurs or not.
