Hadith 7607

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every good deed of the son of Adam is increased for him from ten times to seven hundred times, except for fasting (about which Allah Almighty says): Fasting is especially for Me and I Myself will give its reward. And when he breaks his fast, he is happy, and when he meets Allah Almighty, he will also be happy. The breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
