It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a person asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Can any one of us pray in a single garment?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Does each one of you have two garments?" After narrating this hadith, Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Do you know Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him)? He used to pray in a single garment, and his clothes would be on a wooden stick."
