(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا قُلْتَهُنَّ غُفِرَ لَكَ ، مَعَ أَنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَكَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ ، وَرَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Shall I not teach you such words that when you utter them with your tongue, your sins will be forgiven, even though your sins have already been forgiven? Recite these words, whose translation is: There is no deity except Allah, He is Forbearing and Generous. There is no deity except Allah, He is Great and Exalted. Allah is free from every defect and shortcoming. He is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Mighty Throne. All praise is for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds."
