Hadith 6828

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " كَفَى بِالْمَرْءِ إِثْمًا أَنْ يُضِيعَ مَنْ يَقُوتُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is sufficient for a man to be considered sinful that he neglects those whose sustenance is his responsibility (such as weak parents and wife and children)."
