Hadith 6530

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ رَيْحَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعَامِرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ ، وَلَا لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not permissible for a wealthy person or for a strong and able-bodied (healthy and robust) person to take zakat."
