Hadith 6122

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ , وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the most beloved names to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were Abdullah and Abdur Rahman.
