Hadith 4460

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ حَيْثُ " أَفَاضَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ ، ثُمَّ أَتَى جَمْعًا ، فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ : فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلْتُ ، قَالَ هُشَيْمٌ مَرَّةً : فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " الصَّلَاةَ ، وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : هَكَذَا فَعَلَ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) says that at the time of departure from Arafat to Muzdalifah, we were with Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He led us in the complete Maghrib prayer, then after saying «الصلوة», he led two rak'ahs (of Isha), and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also did at this place just as I have done.
