(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ نُعِتَ لَهُ الْكَيُّ ، فَقَالَ : " اكْوُوهُ أَوْ ارْضِفُوهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that once some people brought a man to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) whose treatment required cauterization. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Cauterize him and heat a stone and apply it."
