ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2891

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ خَمْسِينَ صَلَاةً ، فَسَأَلَ رَبَّهُ فَجَعَلَهَا خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that fifty prayers were initially made obligatory upon your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then he supplicated to the Lord, so He reduced them to five.
