Hadith 26609

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes, at the time of morning, ghusl (ritual bath) would become obligatory upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) by choice, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would still observe the fast. Upon hearing this hadith, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) retracted his earlier fatwa.
