Hadith 26387

حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ , وَذَلِكَ بِمَا كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ مِنْ ذِكْرِهِ إِيَّاهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I did not feel as much jealousy towards any woman as I felt towards Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), and the reason for this jealousy was that I used to hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mention her frequently.
