حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ , عَنْ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْلِسُ بَعْدَ صَلَاتِهِ إِلَّا قَدْرَ مَا يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ , تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, he would sit only for as long as it took to say: O Allah! You are the Source of peace, from You comes peace, O Possessor of majesty and honor! You are very blessed.
