حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تُحَدِّثُهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ السِّوَاكَ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ ، مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Miswak is a means of purification of the mouth and the pleasure of the Lord.
