حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي شَدَّادٌ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ " أَنَّ نِسْوَةً مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ دَخَلْنَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَأَمَرَتْهُنَّ أَنْ يَسْتَنْجِينَ بِالْمَاءِ ، وَقَالَتْ : مُرْنَ أَزْوَاجَكُنَّ بِذَلِكَ ، فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ ، وَهُوَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ الْبَاسُورِ " عَائِشَةُ تَقُولُهُ أَوْ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that some women from Basra came to her, so she instructed them to perform istinja with water and said: Instruct your husbands to do the same, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform istinja with water, and this is a cure for the disease of hemorrhoids.
