It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are five creatures, each of which is wicked, and a person in the state of ihram may kill them, and they may also be killed within the Haram: the mouse, the scorpion, the snake, the rabid dog, and the crow.
