The narrator named Muhammad, while relating an incident, said: When he came, Abdullah was given the choice to either take thirty thousand rupees or take silver vessels. He preferred to take the vessels. Then some traders from "Darin" came, and he sold ten parts of it for thirteen thousand each. Then he met Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him), and said: See how I deceived him. He (Abu Bakrah) asked about the incident, so he narrated the whole story. Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: I swear by Allah, return it, because I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding such things.
