حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يُعْمَلُ فِيهِمْ بِالْمَعَاصِي هُمْ أَعَزُّ مِنْهُمْ وَأَمْنَعُ ، لَا يُغَيِّرُونَ إِلَّا عَمَّهُمْ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِعِقَابِهِ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever a people commit a sin, and among them is an honorable and respected person who does not stop them, then Allah's punishment descends upon all of them."
