تتمہ مُسْنَدِ الْكُوفِيِّينَContinuation of Musnad of the Kufans
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 19237

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ جَرِيرًا " بَالَ قَائِمًا ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ، وَصَلَّى ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، فَذَكَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ " .
Hammam says that once Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) urinated, performed ablution, and wiped over his leather socks. Someone said to him, "How are you wiping over your socks when you have just urinated?" He replied, "Yes! I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) urinate, perform ablution, and wipe over his leather socks."
