Hadith 1804

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Lady Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) state that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), due to intimacy with his family, would become in need of a ritual bath by choice. He (peace be upon him) would perform the bath before the Fajr prayer and would fast that day. The narrator says that I mentioned this hadith to Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said, "I do not know about this, but Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated this to me."
