حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً ، عَنِ أَبِي لَاسٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَمَلَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى إِبِلٍ مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ضِعَافٍ إِلَى الْحَجِّ ، قَالَ : فَقُلْنَا : لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْإِبِلَ ضِعَافٌ نَخْشَى أَنْ لَا تَحْمِلَنَا . قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ بَعِيرٍ إِلَّا فِي ذُرْوَتِهِ شَيْطَانٌ ، فَارْكَبُوهُنَّ ، وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِنَّ كَمَا أُمِرْتُمْ ، ثُمَّ امْتَهِنُوهُنَّ لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Al-As Khuzai (may Allah be pleased with him) that it is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted us a camel from the camels of charity for riding at the time of Hajj. We said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Perhaps due to weakness, it may not be able to bear our load." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There is a devil on the hump of every camel. When you are about to mount it, mention the name of Allah and mount it as you have been commanded, then bring it under your control. Allah Almighty will make it suitable for riding."
