Hadith 17492

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Rimtha (may Allah be pleased with him) that I went with my father to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he saw the Seal of Prophethood on the blessed back of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) Should I not treat you? For I am a physician." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You are a companion, the physician is Allah." Then he asked, "Who is this with you?" He replied, "This is my son and I am a witness over him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Remember! He is not responsible for any of your crimes, nor are you responsible for any of his crimes."
