(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ ، تُلُقِّيَ بِالصِّبْيَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ ، قَالَ : وَإِنَّهُ قَدِمَ مَرَّةً مِنْ سَفَرٍ ، قَالَ : فَسُبِقَ بِي إِلَيْهِ ، قَالَ : فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ جِيءَ بِأَحَدِ ابْنَيْ فَاطِمَةَ ، إِمَّا حَسَنٍ ، وَإِمَّا حُسَيْنٍ ، فَأَرْدَفَهُ خَلْفَهُ ، قَالَ : فَدَخَلْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ثَلَاثَةً عَلَى دَابَّةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, he would meet the children of his household. Once, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, I was the first to be presented before him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) picked me up, then a son of Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), either Sayyiduna Hasan or Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both), was brought, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seated him behind himself. In this way, the three of us rode on one mount and entered Madinah Munawwarah.
