Hadith 17320

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمَعَافِرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا تُخِيفُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ بَعْدَ أَمْنِهَا " ، قَالُوا : وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " الدَّيْنُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not put yourself in danger after being in peace. The people asked, O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) How is that? He said: By taking a loan.
