It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever provides iftar to a fasting person, for him will be written a reward equal to that of the fasting person, and nothing will be diminished from the reward of the fasting person. And whoever equips a warrior (mujahid) for battle or looks after his family in his absence, for him will be written a reward equal to that of the warrior, and nothing will be diminished from the reward of the warrior."
