Hadith 16067

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ رَبُه بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ رَفَعَهُ ، قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا شَجَرَةٍ أَظَلَّتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ ، فَصَاحِبُهُ بِالْخِيَارِ مِنْ قَطْعِ مَا أَظَلَّ أَوْ أَكْلِ ثَمَرِهَا " .
Makhool says: If a tree casts its shade over a people, its owner has the right to remove its shade or to eat its fruit.
