(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي طَارِقُ بْنُ أَشْيَمَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ , يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، وَارْحَمْنِي ، وَارْزُقْنِي " وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " هَؤُلَاءِ يَجْمَعْنَ لَكَ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tariq that when a person would come to the Prophet (ﷺ) and accept Islam, the Prophet (ﷺ) would teach him this supplication: "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me guidance, and provide for me." After that, he would say, "These things are comprehensive for both this world and the Hereafter."
